So, I've been scouted. Now, while I'm certainly thankful for this, it makes me worry a bit. Why? Well, I don't know if I can upload all of my music now. New grounds has stuff about how you should release good quality songs so that browsing the audio portal is more enjoyable, but there are some songs where I just don't know if they're good or not. What if I release a bad song and suddenly my things don't show up in the audio portal anymore? What is the minimum accepted quality? What happens if I release something below that quality? It just feels kinda limiting, ya know?

Okay, so there seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding here: You got the basics right, but the "scouted status checking" will be done by the NG moderators. All of them are humans* and will not just take your status away again just because you uploaded 3 "weaker" songs you made in the past. That being said, maybe space them out. One per quarter or something. You could put them in a playlist, so the distinction becomes more visible to regular users as well. ;)
* Except Exedor. Exedor is _multiple_ humans in a very big suit. He takes part in moderating every aspect of NG, 'except' the forums. (Smart choice!)
